next125 NX 890 brings tactile linoleum to contemporary kitchen cabinetry. Available fronts & finishes
Colours and natural grain may vary from the screen. Confirm your preferred finish with a physical sample.
Four current linoleum finishes are shown below. Compare physical samples in your room’s lighting. The pale tall units in the manufacturer example use separate NX 510 matt velvet lacquer fronts, not additional NX 890 colours.

next125 NX 890 prices: what shapes your quotation?
NX 890 is quoted to your design, not sold as a fixed package. Your quotation sets out every next125 element of your kitchen — cabinets and fronts, carcase heights, interior accessories, lighting and specialist features — so you can see exactly what shapes the price, with our specialist price advantage reflected throughout.
Price group 9
NX 890 is in next125 price group 9, in our highest tier. The front’s price group is the starting point for every cabinet, so compare quotations on the same range and finish.
Cabinet schedule and front colours
Base cabinets, tall doors and the balance of front colours define your cabinetry specification. Compare quotations against the same cabinet schedule, rather than a generic kitchen size.
Cabinet schedule and carcase heights
The number, width and height of base, wall and tall units drive the total. next125 plans on a 125 mm grid with a choice of carcase heights and depths, including the new 61 cm deep carcase; taller carcases, tall units and islands add storage and change the specification.
LumiQ lighting (optional)
next125’s LumiQ lighting can be added to wall units, niches, shelving, grip ledges and plinths. It is optional, and positions, zones and switching are agreed cabinet by cabinet as part of your design.
Interior accessories
Drawer organisers, Flex-Box inserts, cutlery and spice inserts, pull-outs, pantry fittings and corner solutions are chosen to suit how you cook and store, and each is listed in your quotation.
Specialist features
Tall-unit pocket doors, the top-unit pocket system, swivel-door wall units, Frame Wall shelving, niche systems such as cube and matching living-space pieces add function and character, and are quoted individually.
About the next125 NX 890 range.
Best suited to
- Contemporary kitchens with tactile, understated fronts
- Green, grey or warm brown cabinet compositions
- Mixed-material designs pairing linoleum with separate lacquer fronts
- Individually planned corner storage and wall organisation
NX 890 brings a distinctive linoleum texture to the room. Its fully clad construction uses the same material on both faces and the edges. The supplied colour studies show how different base-front tones change the same bright kitchen, while its pale tall cabinetry remains a complementary front choice.
The range’s precise, cubic proportions reflect next125’s Bauhaus-inspired design. The photographs show possible layouts and storage details, rather than a fixed package or a limitation on your choice of finish.
German Kitchen Specialist Ltd focuses on next125, combining personal, premium service with a distinct specialist price advantage. Ask for a quotation based on your own room, layout and specification, rather than a standard package price.

NX 890 front construction & surface.
Linoleum on every side
NX 890 has a wood-based support panel containing recycled wood, fully clad in linoleum. The outer face, inner face and edges share the same material; it is not simply a linoleum coating on the visible front.
A natural material composition
The manufacturer lists linseed oil, resins, wood flour and limestone powder as the principal raw materials in linoleum. Its distinctive texture brings a tactile alternative to wood veneer, laminate and lacquer fronts.
Front and worktop are separate choices
The front material does not define your worktop specification. In the supplied photographs the pale work surface contrasts with coloured base fronts; worktops, splashbacks and their fabrication are agreed independently.
Colour as a design tool
next125’s NX 890 planning examples show how linoleum colours change the character of a kitchen. They illustrate how colour shapes the composition, not a requirement to choose that room layout.
Storage behind the front
Internal drawers, corner storage and a discreet passage door illustrate the manufacturer’s planning possibilities. These are separately specified features, not properties or automatic inclusions of the NX 890 front.

Choosing your NX 890 linoleum finish.
Natural grey, walnut brown, olive green and cappuccino offer four distinct directions. Compare a physical sample with your floor, worktop and planned lighting rather than choosing from a screen alone.
Linoleum natural grey
A restrained grey direction for a composed, neutral cabinet scheme.
- Linoleum natural greyE891
Linoleum walnut brown
A deeper brown direction that introduces warmth without a printed wood-grain finish.
- Linoleum walnut brownE892
Linoleum olive green
A muted green direction, illustrated alongside pale lacquer tall units in the manufacturer example.
- Linoleum olive greenE893
Linoleum cappuccino
A softer warm neutral direction for cabinetry that sits quietly alongside other materials.
- Linoleum cappuccinoE894
These are the current manufacturer NX 890 finishes. The pale NX 510 tall fronts, wall accessories and worktops are specified separately.
Caring for NX 890 linoleum fronts.
Gentle, material-specific care helps protect the linoleum surface. The instructions supplied with your installed kitchen take priority; ask us before treating a persistent mark.
Follow the installed front’s guidance
Use the care instructions supplied with your exact NX 890 finish. Start with a soft, lightly damp cloth and dry the surface afterwards; do not leave moisture sitting at edges and joints.
Preserve the matt appearance
Avoid scouring pads, abrasive cleaners and vigorous rubbing. Before treating a stubborn mark, check the manufacturer’s instructions rather than experimenting with an aggressive product.
Keep surfaces separate
Fronts, worktops, the sink and wall accessories have different care requirements. A treatment suitable for a stone worktop is not automatically suitable for a matt cabinet front.
Linoleum and lacquer are different
The example combines NX 890 linoleum with separate NX 510 matt velvet lacquer tall units. Do not transfer lacquer AFP claims or lacquer-specific treatment instructions to the linoleum front.

next125 NX 890 kitchens: your questions answered.
Practical information about the range, finishes and your next steps.
What is next125 NX 890?
NX 890 is the next125 linoleum front. Its wood-based support panel contains recycled wood and is fully clad in linoleum on the outer face, inner face and edges.
Which NX 890 colours are available?
The current manufacturer palette lists E891 Linoleum natural grey, E892 Linoleum walnut brown, E893 Linoleum olive green and E894 Linoleum cappuccino.
How much does a next125 NX 890 kitchen cost?
Your kitchen is individually quoted. Cabinet sizes, front combinations, corner storage, drawer fittings, wall accessories and lighting determine the total.
Is NX 890 a laminate or lacquer front?
Neither. NX 890 uses linoleum. NX 240 is the separate SensiQ laminate range, while NX 510 offers matt velvet lacquer; the manufacturer example combines NX 890 and NX 510.
Does NX 890 have the NX 510 anti-fingerprint finish?
Do not transfer NX 510 lacquer AFP claims to NX 890. These are different front materials: linoleum for NX 890 and matt velvet lacquer for NX 510.
How do I start an NX 890 kitchen design?
Share your contact details, UK postcode and project timeframe using the enquiry form. Plans and project notes are optional; room dimensions, appliance ideas and storage priorities help us prepare an individual design and quotation.
Are the wall herb trays and lighting included?
They are separately specified planning features shown in the manufacturer photographs. Agree the wall accessories and lighting you want in your own quotation.
Can I include the corner pull-out shown?
We can discuss corner storage as part of your design. The appropriate fitting depends on cabinet dimensions and the surrounding layout; it is not automatically included with every NX 890 kitchen.
Is the passage door a standard NX 890 feature?
The photograph shows a passage integrated into the tall cabinet composition. It is an individual planning solution requiring an assessment of your room and access requirements, rather than a standard inclusion.
Do I have to choose an L-shaped layout?
No. The photographs show one planning example in several colour treatments. Your kitchen layout is individually designed around your room, storage needs and appliances.
