UK next125 specialistPersonal design serviceIndividually quoted

next125 NX 902 and NX 912 are the same satinated matt-glass front with a different aluminium edge: stainless-steel-coloured on NX 902, onyx black on NX 912. Toughened white glass, rear lacquering and fifteen current colours, including three metallics, are individually planned with a UK next125 specialist.

Available fronts & finishes

Colours and natural grain may vary from the screen. Confirm your preferred finish with a physical sample.

Both ranges share fifteen matt-glass finishes; choose NX 902 for a stainless-steel-coloured edge or NX 912 for an onyx black edge. Compare physical samples in your room’s lighting, as metallic tones are particularly sensitive to light. Wood, lacquer accents and shelving in the photographs are separate ranges.

next125 NX 902/912 prices: what shapes your quotation?

NX 902/912 is quoted to your design, not sold as a fixed package. Your quotation sets out every next125 element of your kitchen — cabinets and fronts, carcase heights, interior accessories, lighting and specialist features — so you can see exactly what shapes the price, with our specialist price advantage reflected throughout.

Price group 7

NX 902/912 is in next125 price group 7, in our highest tier. The front’s price group is the starting point for every cabinet, so compare quotations on the same range and finish.

Glass and edge combinations

Each of the fifteen glass colours can be planned with either edge, and glass can be combined with wood or lacquer fronts elsewhere in the room. Each front is priced by its own range and price group.

Cabinet schedule and carcase heights

The number, width and height of base, wall and tall units drive the total. next125 plans on a 125 mm grid with a choice of carcase heights and depths, including the new 61 cm deep carcase; taller carcases, tall units and islands add storage and change the specification.

LumiQ lighting (optional)

next125’s LumiQ lighting can be added to wall units, niches, shelving, grip ledges and plinths. It is optional, and positions, zones and switching are agreed cabinet by cabinet as part of your design.

Interior accessories

Drawer organisers, Flex-Box inserts, cutlery and spice inserts, pull-outs, pantry fittings and corner solutions are chosen to suit how you cook and store, and each is listed in your quotation.

Specialist features

Tall-unit pocket doors, the top-unit pocket system, swivel-door wall units, Frame Wall shelving, niche systems such as cube and matching living-space pieces add function and character, and are quoted individually.

In detail

About the next125 NX 902/912 range.

Best suited to

  • Contemporary kitchens with satinated glass surfaces
  • Island compositions contrasting glass and wood
  • Neutral or metallic cabinet palettes
  • Tall storage, pantry pull-outs and open shelving

NX 902 and NX 912 balance the character of real glass with a restrained matt finish. Their rear-lacquered surface and protected edges distinguish them from lacquer-only fronts.

The edge is the only difference between them. next125 presents the two ranges together, so we do the same: one glass front, fifteen colours, two edge colours and one price group.

The NX 902 photographs show a metallic island with dark wood cabinetry and a lighter architectural kitchen with open shelving. The NX 912 photographs pair matt glass with a lacquer accent, teal tiles and wood storage. All are planning examples rather than fixed packages.

German Kitchen Specialist Ltd focuses on next125, combining personal, premium service with a distinct specialist price advantage. Ask for a quotation based on your own room, layout and specification, rather than a standard package price.

The front in focus

NX 902/912 front construction & surface.

Toughened glass on a support panel

The current manufacturer specification describes 4 mm satinated toughened white glass, fully lacquered on the rear, with an affixed 16 mm wood-based support panel. An all-round decorative edge covering protects the glass edge.

Two edge colours

A solid aluminium edge runs all round the glass: stainless-steel-coloured on NX 902, onyx black on NX 912. A small structural gap between edge and glass is a design feature of these fronts.

A considered material contrast

The supplied NX 902/NX 620 example pairs matt glass island fronts with brushed wood tall cabinetry. Those wood fronts belong to NX 620, not the NX 902 glass palette.

Low-plinth planning

The February 2022 sheet describes an 87.5 cm carcase with a low 5 cm plinth in this example. These are planning dimensions, not the thickness of the glass or mandatory dimensions for every NX 902 kitchen.

Pocket doors and living-room shelving

The supplied example includes tall-unit pocket doors, TIP-ON operation and 2.5 cm end-panel shelving. These are individually specified planning features, not automatic inclusions of the glass front.

Flush handles or handleless planning

The manufacturer sheet describes flush-handle and handleless versions. Opening systems and cabinet dimensions are agreed for your design; they are not determined by the photographed layout.

Storage up to the ceiling

Extra-high cupboards and an integrated bookshelf feature in the supplied example. Ceiling height, access and proportions determine what works in your room; these are planning features rather than mandatory range dimensions.

Ergonomics behind the fronts

Raised appliances, an integrated extractor, moulded non-woven Flex-Box organisers and a Le Mans corner cabinet appear in the supplied specification. Each storage fitting and appliance housing is planned individually.

NX 902 · stainless steel edge

A lighter, metallic outline that blends with pale glass colours, stainless appliances and light stone.

NX 912 · onyx black edge

A fine dark outline that frames each front, suiting darker colours, black worktops and architectural schemes.

Use current manufacturer codes: an older supplied sheet labels platinum metallic G577, while the current collection lists platinum metallic G572 and bronze metallic G577.

Framed construction
Construction
  • Satinated front of toughened white safety glass, 4 mm thick, in a crafted frame construction.
  • The glass is fully colour-lacquered on the rear side; white glass is used as the base for the best possible colour fidelity.
  • Rear side: foil-wrapped frame, closed with a filling.
  • A small structural gap between the aluminium edging and the glass is a classic design feature of these fronts.
  • Solid aluminium edging all round: stainless steel coloured on NX 902, onyx black on NX 912.
  • Light colours appear marginally darker because light is refracted by the glass.
Handles
Where handles are planned, only the range-specific shell handle can be used.

Living with your kitchen

Caring for NX 902/912 fronts.

Gentle, material-specific care helps protect the glass surface and its aluminium edge. The instructions supplied with your installed kitchen take priority; ask us before treating a persistent mark.

Follow your glass-front instructions

Use the care instructions supplied with your exact matt-glass finish. Choose a soft, non-abrasive cloth; check any unfamiliar cleaning product before using it on the surface.

Protect the glass and its profile

Avoid scouring pads and abrasive treatments. Do not apply wood oil, lacquer polish or repair methods intended for another material to the matt glass or its protective frame.

Keep edges and joints dry

Apply cleaning liquid to the cloth rather than flooding the front. Remove residual moisture and take care around the profile, joints, handles and fittings.

Care for mixed materials separately

The supplied kitchens combine glass, lacquer, wood and worktop materials. Follow each material’s own instructions and ask before treating a persistent mark.

Common questions

next125 NX 902/912 kitchens: your questions answered.

Practical information about the range, finishes and your next steps.

What is the difference between next125 NX 902 and NX 912?

Only the edge colour. NX 902 has a stainless-steel-coloured aluminium edge and NX 912 an onyx black edge. The matt glass, fifteen colours, construction and price group are the same.

Which should I choose, NX 902 or NX 912?

The onyx black edge of NX 912 draws a fine dark line around each front and suits darker, architectural schemes. The stainless-steel-coloured edge of NX 902 is lighter and blends with pale glass colours, stainless appliances and light stone. Compare both edge samples with your chosen colour.

What is next125 matt glass?

A real-glass front: 4 mm satinated toughened white glass, fully lacquered on the rear and set in a framed construction with an aluminium edge all round.

How many NX 902 and NX 912 colours are available?

Fifteen matt-glass finishes, shared by both ranges, including three metallic options. The names and codes are shown in the colour gallery; confirm your choice with a physical sample.

How much does a next125 NX 902 or NX 912 kitchen cost?

Both are in next125 price group 7, in our highest tier. Cabinet sizes, glass finish, complementary materials, storage mechanisms and lighting determine your quotation.

Is NX 902 or NX 912 glossy or mirror glass?

No. Both are satinated matt glass. Bronze mirror glass is NX 904 / NX 914; metallic matt finishes do not make these mirror fronts.

Can I choose a different layout from the photographs?

Yes. The images illustrate different manufacturer planning examples, not required layouts. Your cabinetry, opening systems and materials are selected around your room.

How do I start an NX 902 or NX 912 kitchen design?

Share your contact details, UK postcode and project timeframe using the enquiry form. Plans and project notes are optional; room dimensions and storage priorities help shape your design.

Why does the older sheet use a different metallic colour code?

The supplied February 2022 sheet labels platinum metallic as G577. The current manufacturer collection lists platinum metallic as G572 and bronze metallic as G577. Use current names, codes and physical samples when specifying your order, not an older photograph label.

Are the wood tall units part of the NX 902 front palette?

No. The supplied manufacturer sheet pairs NX 902 matt glass with NX 620 brushed wood fronts. Complementary wood is specified as a separate material and range.

Is a 5 cm plinth required for NX 902?

No. The supplied February 2022 sheet describes an 87.5 cm carcase and 5 cm plinth for one planning example. Your final dimensions and opening system are agreed for your project.

Are pocket doors and pantry pull-outs included?

They are individual planning features, not standard inclusions with every NX 902 front. We discuss their suitability and specify each mechanism and fitting in your quotation.

How should I clean NX 902 matt-glass fronts?

Follow the instructions for your installed glass finish. Use gentle, non-abrasive cleaning, avoid flooding edges and joints, and ask before applying an unfamiliar product or treatment.

Why does the supplied sheet mention nine colours?

The supplied manufacturer sheet dates from February 2022 and describes the palette at that time. The current shared NX 902/NX 912 collection lists fifteen finishes. We show current names and codes rather than limiting the palette to the older sheet.

Is the contrasting accent cabinet also NX 912?

No. The supplied NX 912/NX 505 data sheet pairs matt glass with a satin-lacquer accent. The wood cabinetry in the other photos is also a separate material, not an additional glass finish.

Are Flex-Box organisers and Le Mans storage included?

They are optional planning features shown in the supplied manufacturer example. We specify each organiser, corner mechanism and appliance housing individually in your quotation.
